A New Journey for SERES
October 7, 2020, the first shipment of 200-unit SERES 3 to Germany. This is a remarkable foothold for us since DFSK (DongFeng XiaoKang) has the largest market share among Chinese brands in Germany and that has become a big leverage for SERES.
The first-batch Chongqing-made Seres brand EV was firstly exported to Germany, Europe means all DFSK group product-lineup entering Europe: Commercial vehicle, passenger car and electric vehicle after 100-unit DFSK SUV ix5 was shipped to Germany by CRexpress train on This April 15th.
Since Seres(aka Sokon,DFSK,SF)has become such an outstanding contributor to the auto industry, it seems like it should have its own listing in your list of manufacturers (apart from Dongfeng). And yes, I am aware that its efforts to spin itself off from Dongfeng failed last year, but I’m sure those circumstances are merely temporary.

If the specifications of the SERES 3 match those of the Fengon E3, that means that the SERES 3 will also be a 4.39 meter long crossover with a wheelbase of 2.66 meters. The Fengon E3 is 1.85 meters wide and 1.65 meters high. The front axle of the Fengon E3 has a 163 hp and 300 Nm strong electric motor. The battery pack has a capacity of 52.6 kWh, good for a range of 405 kilometers according to the Chinese NEDC cycle.
