Chinese new car sales in 2012 is about 20 millions, Japanese brands get now less than 10% of the total market share in China.

German cars and American GM cars take the most market share, Chinese own brands get 33% of the market share.

The major problem of Japanese brands is that they are lossing the market competitiveness to German, American and Korean cars.

数据显示,10月日系车共销售9.89万辆,环比下降38.22%,同比下降59.41%,占有率比上月下降4.55个百分点,比上年同期下降12.34个百分点。这是日系车月度销量自2009年以来首次低于10万辆,市场占有率也是有统计以来首次跌破10%。

虽然日系车企在10月开展一系列市场促销活动,但仍未能阻止跌势。上个月,在销量排名前十的乘用车生产企业中,日系品牌合资企业已完全不见踪影。其丢掉的市场占有率被自主品牌及德系车抢占。

盖世汽车网统计数据显示,2008年,日系在华国产车销量为168.99万辆,市场占有率达到顶峰,为30.2%。但此后开始持续下滑,目前已经降至历史最低点。

报告认为,日系车销量增长连年下滑是日系车企对中国汽车市场的快速增长预计不足,还受到大规模召回事件、日本地震及钓鱼岛事件的影响;此外,与车型老化、竞争力下降也有关系。
