Geely Concept Icon SUV

Computer interfaces from the 1980s inspire the boxy shape for Geely’s new Concept Icon SUV that premieres at the Beijing Motor Show. The Chinese automaker doesn’t offer any powertrain details about the concept, but Volvo’s CMA platform from vehicles like the new XC40 underpins this model.

Power system:
The 1.5T turbocharged engine in the new car has a maximum output of 177 horsepower, a peak torque of 300 Nm, a maximum power of 140 kilowatts, a seven-speed wet dual clutch transmission system, and a 7.9-mile acceleration of 7.9. Compared with well-known brands such as Honda and Volkswagen, this power system of Geely is not weak, and has even surpassed the engine of the joint venture brand.
