Jianghuai Automotive (JAC Motors) released its March performance summary today, the Shanghai Securities News reported. The report revealed positive figures all around, with JAC’s export and engine services showing the most impressive growth.

Outside of a minor fall in SUV production, the Anhui-based manufacturer saw huge increases in sedan, minivan, light and heavy truck manufacture, with total number of vehicles being made last month reaching 55,270 units (an increase of 14.49 percent from March 2010 figures.)

JAC’s sales figures were similarly positive, with the manufacturer reporting total sales of 55,790 vehicles (an increase of 16.07 percent from last March). Most notable among JAC’s sales results were the 5,737 exports it made last month, increasing 137.26 percent from last year. Sole sales of engines were also an impressive point for the manufacturer, with 26,169 engines being sold, an increase of 69.18 percent from 2010.
