Tesla has delivered close to 800,000 cars through the end of September 2019 (255,561 in 9 months), which now is surely well above 800,000. By the end of this year, Tesla should be at nearly 900,000, by adding no less than 100,000 every quarter.
BYD, on the other hand, sold during nine months 185,919 plug-in electric cars and some 700,000 cumulatively.
