VN4是中国兵器工业集团研制的4X4型轮式装甲车，重庆铁马工业集团生产，2009年开始批量出口，用户包括委内瑞拉、肯尼亚。

　肯尼亚警方在5日开展的一次清查非法外籍务工人员的行动中，带走数名持有合法证件的中国记者和中资机构人员。中国驻肯尼亚使馆获悉此事后即向肯高层和执法部门提出交涉。随后有关人员当天被全部释放。

　　据了解，肯警方此次行动是打击外来非法移民行为的一部分，共抓扣了1200多名非法移民，涉及欧洲、拉美、亚洲、东非地区的26个国家。

　　6日，肯外交部常务副部长代表肯政府就此事向中方表示歉意。同日，肯警方发言人在接受采访时就此事公开道歉。

　　肯方强调，这是一起双方都不愿看到的非常不幸的事件，是基于错误信息采取的不当执法行为。肯政府坚持对华友好的立场没有、也不会有任何改变。肯方将对事件进行调查，对查明有违法违规的执法人员将作出严肃处理。
